Ḥabīb ‘Umar is a descendant of the Prophet Muḥammadﷺ and a well-known Yemeni scholar and caller to Allah. He has authored this book on Sufism – an inward science involving the spiritual purification of the seeker on the path to Allah. He is a master of this inward science. He defines and explains it, speaking clearly and with authority. He sets out the ten most important attributes of true Sufis, such as sincerity, humility of heart, and loving Allah and preferring Him over everything else.
